Cream chiffon draped wedding skirt with train
A beautifully styled cream wedding skirt made with a double layer of taffeta and a chiffon draped over-skirt leading into soft, fluid folds of a train. The waistline has a slimming flat yoke dropping to a V at centre front and back. Extra fitting is provided with 6 ins / 15 cms of thin elastication at each side of the waist. The skirt folds round over the hips at each side and then the back opens up into the train. At hip level the skirt is folded up into three stitched pleats which are released at the front to fall and drape in soft loops down and across the whole skirt front. The train is folded back in on itself at the top of the hips and then stitched in pleats onto the back yoke. It has been cut on the cross to give maximum drape and flow to lie in soft ripples like a pool. All three layers of the train have been caught together for control at the point where the carrying loop is attached. There is no size label in this skirt. It is slightly dusty under the train and only has a couple of chiffon pulls one minor and the other towards the end of the centre back zip which can be seen close up. Due to the ambiguity of “standard” sizing from retailer to retailer, clothing from the Bournemouth Depot is now being measured. Please check these measurements before purchasing to ensure correct fitting. Use the “standard” sizing as a guide only.
